Round about 400 guests and 34 international sales partners from all over the world celebrated the 30 years anniversary of the machine-builder ITH at the company headquarter in Enste on Saturday, 06.06.2009, with a large celebration and a day of open house.
Day of open houseMany ITH co-workers had brought along their families. With organized shopfloor tours the members could make themselves an overview of the products and applications. On the bouncing castle many children found their fun. unfortunately the planned balloon trips failed in the light of the bad weather. An impressing gift presented the staff to the owners, the family Hohmann. A two meter high metal sculpture which shows symbolically the senior boss Hans Hohmann with his two sons Frank and Jörg and the co-workers.

„The cooperation of many aspects led us here by today” company´s founder and senior boss Hans Hohmann said and explained its recipe for success. „The bases are a good product, appropriate investments, a hard work and good co-workers. Without them everything would not have been possible. But I would like to thank you quite cordially “.
30 years ITH: A success story
The success story of ITH had begun 1979 in the basement of Hans Hohmann with only one lathe machine and the idea of the today's success product „bolt tensioning cylinders “. „The landlord always weighted about the noise there” ,Hans Hohmann told an anecdote suitably to the easy atmosphere of the celebration. „He cannot sleep any longer. I suggested him to take a package of earplugs “. Today over 130 co-workers are engaged on the company headquarter in Enste. The products are marketed world-wide by more than 40 sales agents and subsidiaries in the USA, Japan, China and Malaysia.
ITH Bolting Day: „30 years of innovation “
Before to the 30 year old operating celebration the traditional „ITH Bolting Day took place “. Under the slogan „30 years of innovation “ the international ITH agents were informed about the current economic situation in the market, about accomplished projects and about technical innovations. Everyone of the foreign ITH branches received a parting gift: A graphic which shows the business areas of ITH: Engineering, tools, fasteners, service.
2.200, - euro-donation for „no child without a meal “On the occasion of the anniversary 2,200, - € were donated to the city Meschede for the action „no child without a meal". The amount consists one half each of the gifts of the guests and the other half supplemented ITH. 2.200 meals can be spent by this money to needy basic school children, who are cared for over noon. A meal costs 2.50 €, the state pays 1, - € and the municipality 0.50 €. Unfortunately is it like that many families are not able to apply the remaining sum of 1,00 €. The subsidy comes thereby only to children out socially disadvantaged families.
ITH promotes education and sportAlso with the support of educational facilities, for example the equipment of the junior high school Meschede with PCs, company ITH made an active contribution for our social cooperation. In times of the globalization education is a valuable property, in order to secure success and lasting prosperity. Sport and movement increase the physical well-being. Therefore ITH promotes sporty commitment, like for example „the ITH Hennesee Triathlon “.
