The ITH power wrenches of type EDS are fitted with a compact high-power planetary-gear system, a safety hinge, an easy-to-read multi-function display as well as our patented Soft-Turn automatic system (STA). The STA reduces the rotating speed as the torque increases. In this way, wear on the material due to the bolting operation is reduced to a minimum.

The electric nut runners are available in straight versions (EDS/sEDS) and angled versions (EDSw). The support arms can be designed individually to customer specification.

The standard features of the ITH pneumatic nut runners of type PDS include the compact high-performance planetary gear system and safety turning hinge. A switchover gear for low and high speed as well as customer-specific support arms are available as optional extras.

The PDS nut runners are outstanding for their compact lightweight design and independence from the power supply. Among other applications, the PDS is ideal for use in potentially explosive environments (e.g. petrochemical industry).

The pneumatic nut runners are produced in a straight version (type PDS) and angled version (type PDSw). Customer-specific designs are also possible on prior consultation.

The ITH power wrenches of type MDS are based on the planetary-gear system (as are all our power wrenches). For safe and accurate bolting, the MDS units are fitted with an overload safety device (shear pin) and recoil-blocking device. The MDS power wrenches cover a range from 1400 – 10000 Nm.

The adjustable support arms are designed to customer requirement.
