ITH nut splitters remove rusty or seized nuts of any kind quickly and safely. ITH nut splitters have their ideal field of application in areas where the use of thermal cutting processes is prohibited, e.g. in the petrochemical and gas-supply industries. When ITH nut splitters are used, it is often possible to re-use the bolts, thereby permitting cost-savings.
ITH nut splitters are available in two types:
Type SF for flange joints
Type MS for joints in general mechanical engineering applications
Design / function:
- Single-action high-pressure hydraulic cylinder with spring return
- Two-part high-pressure compression

- Replaceable cutter and cutter head
- Bolt thread is not damaged (cost factor)
Type SF
